Hello, and happy New Year! 🤍 I hope 2026 is already off to a great start for you.
As we wrapped up last year, I found myself reflecting on my word for 2025: fun. And honestly… We really did lean into it. From projects we loved to the not-so-serious moments on Instagram (yes, the silly reels absolutely count!), it was a year that reminded me not to take everything so seriously. And while we really did lean into that, it was also a challenging year in many ways. I’m honestly grateful to be welcoming a fresh start and saying goodbye to 2025 with perspective and appreciation! I’m incredibly thankful for every new follower who joined us along the way and made showing up online feel like such a joy. 🙂
Heading into 2026, my word is positivity. Positivity in how we approach work, creativity, challenges, and the everyday moments that make up life and business. It’s a simple word, but one I want to apply across the board this year. If you were picking a word for the year, which would you choose?
This time of year always comes with trend predictions, especially in the design world. And while there are definitely styles and materials I think we’ll be seeing more of, this is just a gentle reminder: the best “trend” will always be choosing what makes you happy. As a designer, one of my biggest priorities is thinking about how my clients will actually live in their homes; how a space functions day to day, how it feels, and how it supports real life. If a home brings you joy, that’s what matters most. 😉
I’m so excited about what’s ahead – finishing up projects we’ve been pouring our hearts into, starting new ones, making this our best year of staging listings yet, and finally sharing a secret project we’ve been working on behind the scenes. You’ll also continue seeing us on social media, because it is still FUN.
A couple of practical updates too: we now have a Shop link on our website where you can easily find and purchase pieces you’ve seen in our reels (on Instagram it’s saved as a link in my bio!). We’ve also added a new Staging tab with more information, including our Pay at Close option, which means you can stage your listing now and pay at closing. It’s been a great addition and one we’re excited to offer! So check out that tab if you want more information.
